Eyeliners are a great way of adding a flash of colour to an otherwise neutral makeup look. This dual-ended pencil by Valentino has a slick, gel-like texture that glides on with ease and comes in seven shades – including a really wearable green hue, which has become my go-to. Despite being long-wearing, the formula gives you enough play time before locking down a crisp, clean cat eye or a smudged-out smokey courtesy of the blending brush on the other end.

I use the Augustinus Bader Light Cream every day – it's the sweet spot between keeping my skin hydrated and not overloading it. But there are definitely patches where I need a little extra TLC. The Rich Eye Cream is just that - a whipped, cushiony, intensive moisturiser that does a great job of plumping the delicate skin around my eyes. It's so deliciously soothing, I even slather it on the skin around my lips. Wind-whippped skin has met its match.

Bottega Veneta
This isn't just a perfume, it's a piece of art – which goes some way to explaining the heftier price tag. There are five fragrances in the new Bottega Veneta collection, all boasting a signature glass bottle that looks like rippled water and a luxurious green marble plinth. But Colpo di Sole is my favourite. A sharp snap of bergamot and orange flower rubs shoulders with powdery notes, musk and vanilla for a bright, mellow scent that evokes a sunny, summer day. Yes, it smells expensive. But it's also uplifting and nostalgic because it reminds me of childhood holidays and the refreshing, herbal scent of 4711 Eau de Cologne that my mum used to splash on her pulse points in the heat. It's a beautiful investment piece.

Lisa Eldridge
There's a lot to love about this lipstick. First, there's the unmatched slip that allows you to build up the intensity of the eight shades (Lisa, a neutral pink, is my go-to for daytime, and the earthier Ashes of Roses for nights out). There's also the chic retro packaging. But this lipstick took five years to create because Lisa was so determined to create a refill made of 100% aluminium rather than multiple materials, including magnets, which can't be recycled. I really applaud that commitment to doing better in beauty and, for me, it's what makes this lipstick stand out in an oversaturated market.

Harvey Nichols
My skin never seems to behave when faced with autumn's see-sawing temperatures. Recently, it's been looking dull and congested, which is why I've started including this weekly peel in my routine to lift away my skin's weather-beaten top layer and speed up cell renewal. It's billed as a ‘chemical exfoliator’ but soothing aloe vera and hydrating hyaluronic acid act as buffers to any dryness or irritation and vitamin C adds extra glow. It may just be a 10-minute Sunday night ritual but it makes me look like I've had a 90-minute facial - and you can't ask for more than that.

Merit
Merit has launched its first fragrance and despite the moody midnight blue glass bottle (which btw, looks beautiful), the scent is all clean-girl freshness. With notes of bergamot, pear, aldehydes, orris, jasmine, rose, vanilla, musk and moss, it manages to capture the cosy familiarity of a skin scent. The opening is pretty and ethereal, with pear leading the way, but it settles into a sophisticated, cuddly musk. She’s a crowd-pleaser.

As a dry-skinned girl, I’m always seeking ways to add and maintain glow in my makeup. Milk’s latest update to the cult Hydro Grip primer couldn’t have come at a better time. Now we’re in autumn, my skin is feeling especially dull, and this golden-toned primer gives a gorgeous warm luminosity that makes me want to go easy on my foundation. I’ve even mixed the two together to save time. Not only does it give radiance, but it locks everything into place for longer.

Victoria Beckham Beauty
Full disclosure: I'm a vanilla perfume devotee through and through. Naturally, when the new Rêverie fragrance by Victoria Beckham landed on my desk, it was love at first sniff. Its spicy and cosy nature is perfectly complemented by notes of vanilla, cedarwood and tonka bean, resulting in a truly luxurious-smelling eau de parfum. Ever since I first spritzed it on my wrist, it's maintained its position as one of my go-to fragrances of the autumnal season.

Dior
Ever since the Dior Forever Sequin Liquid Lipsticks went viral last year, I haven't been able to stop thinking about them. This year, they're making a grand return – now available in more shades and golden packaging. Sure, their sparkle-y nature is a no-brainer for the party season, but I, for one, intend to wear this formula all year round. After all, who said you need a special occasion to rock a glittery lip?

Gisou
As a lip oil obsessive, I'm always on the lookout for the next quality shine-inducing formula to join my daily rotation of lip products. My most recent favourite? Gisou's newly launched Cherry On The Cake shade – a gorgeous shimmery red with that Gisou signature glass-like shine. I wear it on its own or as part of my go-to lip combo, and it delivers Every. Single. Time.

There aren't many lip balms that I rate just as much as the Summer Fridays Lip Butter balm. I love the nourishing feel, the shine and the stunning selection of shades. Speaking of the latter, the brand has just launched a new Hot Cocoa iteration, and truth be told, it may be my favourite one to date. It smells just like a hot cup of hot chocolate and delivers a subtle wash of brown, making it my go-to lippie for the colder months ahead.
